For full consideration, applications for Fall 2017 should be received by January 1, 2017. We will continue to evaluate applications after this date; however, early applications receive priority.
- Submit the online application on ApplyTexas. Further information about Texas A&M and the application process can be found at the Office of Admissions. The online application must include a statement of purpose explaining why you want to pursue graduate studies and why you are applying to the EEB program, and describing your research interests and previous research experience. In your statement of purpose, you should identify specific EEB core faculty members whose labs you are interested in joining.
- Use the online application system to request three letters of recommendation, to be uploaded directly by your recommenders.
- Have transcripts, GRE scores, and TOEFL scores (for international applicants) sent to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions and Records. The Institute Code for Texas A&M University is 6003 (there is no department code needed). Any hard copies should go to the address below. To expedite processing, we strongly encourage applicants to e-mail unofficial transcripts and test scores directly to EEB.
