May 16, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

  • « Graduation Application Open for August Degree Candidates
  • Thesis Defense – Bridgett Downs »

The Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training Program is excited to announce dates for the 2018 spring semester!

Green Dot teaches Aggie faculty/staff to be aware of potential violence around them and provides the skills, strategies, and tactics to use the power of peer influence to intervene appropriately and safely in high-risk situations. Green Dot will teach you how to become an active bystander when you witness acts of power-based personal violence. You will learn how to recognize situations that lead to violence, common barriers that keep people from taking action, and how to safely intervene in ways that are consistent with your personality and values.

This semester we are offering three trainings for faculty/staff!  Registration and training is free.

Tuesday, January 09, 8:30 a.m. – noon
Monday, March 12, 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday, May 16, 8:30 a.m. – noon
