Farewell Dr. Jacobsen

Congratulations and farewell to our EEB/ABS Program Coordinator Dr. Nick Jacobsen.  After serving EEB and ABS since 2019, Nick has accepted a fantastic position as Instructional Assistant Professor in Energy and Sustainability at the University of Houston.

Nick has served as a true hub for the EEB community, acting in numerous roles – professor, ombudsperson, administrator, and activities coordinator – in an impressive range of scholarly and administrative activities. Nick has successfully herded many cats and kept EEB committees on track and consistently worked behind the scenes with GPS leadership to help keep EEB on the forefront of TAMU’s interdisciplinary degree programs. The EEB Program excelled during your time as Program Coordinator thanks in no small part to your efforts at recruiting, teaching, and keeping everything running. The EEB Program is about the best thing going at TAMU.

We are very happy for you, Nick.  Thank you for your service to  EEB and ABS. We will miss you!
