Spotlight: Jesse Meik

Welcome to EEB’s new adjunct faculty member Jesse Meik!

Dr. Meik is an assistant professor of biology at Tarleton State University and studies ecology and comparative evolutionary biology. His major research interests include systematics, taxonomy, and biogeography of reptiles and amphibians, and the evolution of body size and sexual size dimorphism. He has worked extensively in Mexico, where he has conducted research on treefrogs, blunt-headed vine snakes, and island populations of rattlesnakes.
