Micro to Macro: Ecology in the Anthropocene
The 18th annual Ecological Integration Symposium (EIS) will be held on March 23rd and 24th, 2017, on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas.
The 18th annual EIS theme is “Micro to Macro: Ecology in the Anthropocene” and will include talks by Dr. Fikret Berkes, professor at University of Manitoba; Dr. Robin Chazdon, professor at University of Connecticut; Dr. Kim Cobb, professor at Georgia Institute of Technology; Dr. Jiangou (Jingle) Wu, professor at Arizona State University; Dr. Eric Pianka, professor at University of Texas at Austin; and Dr. Jonathan Pruitt, professor at University of California at Santa Barbara. (See Plenary Speakers page)
EIS provides an excellent opportunity for students in Texas and across the nation to showcase their work and engage in meaningful dialogue with the invited speakers and world-renowned scientists in their field.
We are now accepting abstracts for student presentations in talk and poster formats. Both graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to present original research during the student research symposium on Friday, March 24, 2017. Please see the links below for the registration form.
