(A note from EEBISO to new applicants)
We realize that contacting new faculty members can be intimidating, especially if you are approaching them with your own idea for a project currently not funded. To assist with this, current EEB students are willing to help applicants navigate the TAMU EEB application process.
We would be happy to talk to potential applicants about their research interests, questions about what faculty to contact, and/or just answer questions about life in College Station in general! We can chat via email or schedule a phone call/Zoom session, in English or in Spanish. If you think your TAMU EEB application would benefit from the assistance of a current EEB graduate student, please email current EEBISO president Vivian Peralta Santana with a brief description of your research interests and what you would like to talk about so you can be matched with a current student.
