Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Summer Undergraduate Research in Costa Rica, Summer 2014
The Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) graduate program at Texas A&M University invites undergraduates from all majors to participate in our summer research program in Costa Rica. Qualified applicants will be paired with an EEB PhD student mentor to work as a research assistant. If you are thinking about graduate school in EEB or a related field, this is a great opportunity to gain research experience! To qualify, you must intend to enroll for fall 2014. If you are interested in the Summer 2014 program, please submit a letter of interest, resume, and unofficial transcript by February 1, 2014. Your letter can be up to three pages and should 1) explain how this experience relates to your career goals, 2) identify fields that interest you most, and 3) detail your knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities as related to ecology and evolutionary biology. We will use this information to help match you with a graduate student in the program. Although this is not a paid internship program, all travel, lodging, and research expenses will be paid by the graduate student researcher.
