Heath Blackmon will be hosting an R hack day and workshop on Saturday, November 9, from 9:30 AM-5:00 PM in the ILSB auditorium.
This hack day is a chance to work on projects in R. These could be statistical analyses, plotting, data manipulation, or web app development in Shiny. Ideally, this is a chance to work with your own data in a setting where help is available. For those who don’t have their own data but would like practice in R, there will also be a series of R coding challenges and example datasets with which to work.
Throughout the day, Dr. Blackmon and several others with extensive experience in R will be available to troubleshoot and explain different packages, and coding approaches in R.
Students, faculty, and postdocs are all welcome to attend, and all experience levels are welcome.
